To ask the Postmaster-General if his attention has been called to complaints made to the Postmaster at Belfast regarding the non-arrival of the letters in due course of post from the West of Ireland; and, if so, will he state what as the cause of the delay and what steps he intends to take to insure punctual conveyance of the mails to Belfast from the West of Ireland in the future.

(Answered by Lord Stanley.) I was not aware that complaints had been made to the Postmaster of Belfast of delay in the transmission of letters from the West of Ireland to Belfast; but I will have inquiry made and will communicate the result to the hon. Member.
