To ask the Postmaster-General, having regard to the fact that the Wapping post and telegraph office, situated at Old Gravel Lane, east of Wapping Bridge, is not available to firms in business west of the bridge on the occasions when the bridge is open, will he state whether it has yet been found possible to secure premises suitable for the establishment of a post office in Wapping west of Wapping Bridge.

(Answered by Lord Stanley.) I regret to say that it has not vet been found possible to secure suitable premises for the establishment of a post office in the locality to which the hon. Member refers.
