MR. HERBERT ROBERTSI beg to ask the First Lord of the Treasury whether, in view of the military expedition to Tibet and other questions of importance to India awaiting discussion, he will arrange for the debate on the Indian Budget to be taken before the concluding days of this session.

§ MR. A. J. BALFOURIt is not possible to fix a day for the discussion of the Indian Budget. I can hold out little or no hope 1484 that it will be taken in the first week of August.
