HC Deb 27 July 1904 vol 138 c1319
MR. CHARLES Mc ARTHUR (Liverpool, Exchange)

To ask the President of the Board of Trade whether the Accounts for the General Lighthouse Fund for the year ending 31st March, 1904, will be laid upon the Table of the House before the prorogation of Parliament; or, if not, when their publication may be expected.

(Answered by Mr. Gerald Balfour.) I regret that it will not be possible to lay these Accounts upon the Table of the House before the prorogation of Parliament, as the certificate of the Comptroller and Auditor-General will not have been obtained by that date. The Accounts will probably be laid upon the Table of the House upon its reassembling early next year.
