BOLAND (Kerry, S)I beg to ask the Secretary of State for the Colonies whether, in view of the fact that three months have elapsed since the close of the financial year in Malta, he will undertake that a copy of the balance-sheet for the year will be available for Members of the House before the Vote on the Colonial Estimates is taken.
§ THE SECRETARY OF STATE FOR THE COLONIES (Mr. LYTTELTON,) Warwick, LeamingtonI have received a telegram from the Governor of Malta stating that the Annual Account for the year 1903–4 would be ready on the 11th of July; it should, therefore, reach the Colonial Office in about a week from that date. The account will then be printed and laid before Parliament.
