HC Deb 04 July 1904 vol 137 c471
MR. MOONEY (Dublin County, S.)

I beg to ask Mr. Attorney-General for Ireland if his attention has been called to complaints from the Rathmines Polling District of South Dublin to the effect that the voters' requisition forms, provided for by statute and distributed by the town clerk of Rathmines (in his capacity of deputy for the clerk of the peace of Dublin County) were in many instances, and to an extent calculated to interfere with the discharge of his duty by the town clerk, taken away from the custody of those residents to whom they were issued by unauthorised persons, inaccurately filled up and returned to the said town clerk; and, if so, whether he proposes to take any, and, if so, what action to secure that these inaccuracies shall be corrected and the persons entitled, and these only, placed on the supplemental list.

THE ATTOENEY-GENEEAL FOR IEELAND (Mr. ATKINSON,) Londonderry, N.

My attention has been called to the matter mentioned, which has been referred to the police for investigation.
