HC Deb 04 July 1904 vol 137 cc451-2
MR. HUGH LAW (Donegal, W.)

To ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland whether the Estates Commissioners have received an application from Mr. George Ward, Tuberkeen, Dungloe, county Donegal, for re-instatement in the farm from which he was evicted; whether the estate upon which his former holding is situated is in the Land Judge's Court, or has been offered for sale to the Estates Commissioners or to the Congested Districts Board; and whether, in event of a sale of the estate, the reinstatement of Ward will be favourably considered.

(Answered by Mr. Wyndham.) An application for reinstatement has been received from G. Ward, and will be considered. The Estates Commissioners have received no application in respect of the sale of the estate. It was offered to the Congested Districts Board, but the Board decided not to purchase it. The estate does not appear to be in the Land Judge's Court.
