HC Deb 29 February 1904 vol 130 cc1246-7
MR. WILLIAM ABRAHAM (Cork County, N.E.)

I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland whether he can state how many applications for reinstatement have been received by the Estates Commissioners from evicted tenants in Cork county since November last; and, if any independent action will be taken by the Estates Commissioners by means of which some of these evicted tenants may be reinstated during the approaching spring.

MR. WYNDHAM

Four hundred and twenty-nine such applications have been received. Upon the sale of estates in the county the inspectors have instructions to report on these applications with a view to the reinstatement of evicted tenants.
