MR. LOUGH (Islington, W.)

To ask the Under-Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether, in view of the fact that it is the duty of the permanent bureau set up under the Brussels Sugar Convention to collect, translate, arrange, and publish information of all kinds respecting legislation on and statistics of sugar, not only in the contracting States but in other States as well, he will say if any such information has yet been published by the permanent bureau; and, if so, when it will be laid before Parliament.

The proéh verbaux of the sittings of the Permanent Commission in June and July last, as well as fascicules 1–8 concerning the legislation of various countries, were sent to the Library of the House of Commons on the 26th of November. Fascicules 9 and 10 dealing with the legislation of Denmark and the Danish Antilles were sent to the Library on the 25th instant. Subsequent publications when received will be laid in due course.
