§ DR. MACNAMARAI beg to ask the Secretary of State for the Colonies whether any communications respecting the Chinese Labour Ordinance were despatched either to Lord Milner or to the Lieutenant-Governor of the Transvaal subsequent to the debate on the Amendment to the Address dealing with the introduction of indentured Chinese labour into the Transvaal; and, if so, whether he will lay upon the Table copies of the communications.
