LABOUCHERE (Northampton)I beg to ask the Secretary of State for the Colonies whether he has any evidence that General Botha and the other Boer leaders who have protested, in the name of the Boers in the Transvaal, gainst the importation of indentured Chinese to work in the mines, were actuated by unworthy motives; whether,>f so, he will lay that evidence upon the Table of the House; and whether he has replied to the protest of General Botha and the other Boer leaders.
