§ MR. BOLANDI beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland whether steps will shortly be taken to carry out the improvements, under the Marine Works (Ireland) Act, at Valentia Ferry, county Kerry; and whether a dredger will be provided to improve the harbours at Kenmare and other ports in the West and South of Ireland.
§ MR. WYNDHAMNo decision has yet been reached in reference to the projected works at Valentia. The question of providing a dredger in connection with Irish harbours, to be placed at the disposal of local authorities on loan or hire, is engaging consideration.
