FARRELL (Longford, N.)I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland when it is proposed to hold another sitting of the Head Land Commission in Longford for the hearing of appeals; and will he, with a view to effecting the payment of the March rents, direct them to hold a sitting before 20th March at latest.
§ MR. WYNDHAMNo date has yet teen fixed; and I am informed by the Commissioners that it will not be possible for them to hold a sitting at Longford before the date mentioned. The delay will not be to the detriment of the parties affected, as the hon. Member will observe on referring to Section 3, Subsection 3, of the Land Law Act, 1898.
