GERALD BALFOURAs I stated in reply to my right hon. friend the Member for East Somerset on Thursday last, inquiries are continually in progress by the Commercial, Labour, and Statistical Departments of the Board of Trade with a view to supplement and complete the information contained in the Blue-book (Cd. 1761). Some of the information procured is of a confidential character and could not be published, but the question of publishing other parts of the material—which is being got together—will be considered at a later stage.
