Order read, for resuming Adjourned Debate on Question [2nd February],"That Mr. Speaker do issue his Warrant to the Clerk of the Crown to make out a new Writ for the electing of a Member to serve in this present Parliament for the County of Hertford (Mid or St. Albans Division) in the room of the hon. Vicary Gibbs, who, since his election for the said County, has undertaken a contract, with the Commissioners for executing the Office of Lord High Admiral of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, for the public service."—(Sir A.
