To ask the Financial Secretary to the War Office what was the date of the latest visit of any member of the women inspectors' staff from the Home Office to the Army Clothing works since the visit of His Majesty's principal woman inspector in the time of his predecessor and prior to the deputation; and at what date the electric fans now used were put in.

(Answered by Mr. Bromley Davenport.) In reply to the first part of the Question, there has been no visit since the one referred to. In reply to the second part of the Question, four electric fans were put in about 20th July last, and four more on the 4th August. These are additional to the nine fans in the Inspection Department, which have been in use since last November.
