HC Deb 12 August 1904 vol 140 c407
MR. NOLAN

To ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland if he will say how many representation forms for the construction of labourers' cottages have been submitted from No.1 Rural District, Ardee, county Louth; how long are they in hand; what is the reason they are not proceeded with; have the existing labourers' allotments in the same district been increased to an acre as provided in the Act; and, if not, can he state the reason.

(Answered by Mr. Wyndham.) Fifty-three representations have been received by the district council since November, 1900. The council has deferred consideration of them from time to time. None of the existing allotments have been increased to an acre. Nine applications in this respect have been made to the council, but the consideration of these was also deferred.
