HC Deb 09 August 1904 vol 139 c1564
MR. WILLIAM ABRAHAM (Cork County, N.E.)

I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland whether application for reinstatement to their holdings have been received by the Estates Commissioners from Mr. Thomas Kent and Mrs. O'Brien, evicted tenants on the Kingston Estate; and whether, before the Estates Commissioners sanction the sale of this estate to the occupying tenants, an inquiry will be made into the circumstances of Mr. Thomas Kent and Mrs. O'Brien's cases, with the view of their reinstatement to their holdings on this estate.

THE CHIEF SECRETARY FOR IRELAND (Mr. WYNDHAM,) Dover

Applications have been received from these evicted tenants, but so far the estate has not been brought before the Commissioners to be dealt with.
