SLOANI beg to ask the First Lord of the Treasury whether, seeing that time does not allow for the discussion of the claim against the Government in the matter of the specie commandeered by the Government of the late South African Republic from British banks, he will consider the advisability of leaving the matter to the decision of an arbitrator to be approved by both parties.
