LONSDALEI beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland whether he will state who was the official whose action prevented the recovery of the charges for extra police from the counties of Sligo, Cavan, Clare, Fermanagh, Galway, Leitrim, Roscommon, Tipperary, and Waterford, and consequently entailed a loss of over £7,000 to the Exchequer.
