HC Deb 04 August 1904 vol 139 c994
MR. FLAVIN

I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland whether he is aware that the Kerry County Council at their meeting on the 28th ultimo passed a resolution requesting the Department of Agriculture and Fisheries to hold a local inquiry as to the cause of the practical extinction of the salmon fishery at the Cashen (N. Kerry); and whether, owing to the fact that a number of fishermen are, or will be thrown out of employment, the Board will take immediate steps by way of a local inquiry.

MR. WYNDHAM

The resolution has not yet been communicated to the Department.
