HC Deb 03 August 1904 vol 139 c711
MR. WEIR

To ask the Postmaster-General, in view of the fact that on public holidays in Scotland, and on bank holidays in England and Ireland, letters arriving after the morning delivery for residents who do not rent private boxes can only be obtained on payment of a charge of 3d., will he state the amount derived annually from this source in England, Scotland, and Ireland respectively.

(Answered by Lord Stanley.) There are no statistics available to enable me to reply to the Question of the hon. Member, and the compilation of such statistics would involve a large amount of labour.
