§ MR. TULLYI beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland whether he can state on what grounds the Local Government Board refused to sanction the election of Mr. Lynch as clerk of Macroom Union; whether their attention has been drawn to the recent decision of the Master of the Rolls in this matter; and what steps the Local Government Board now propose to take with regard to the clerkship of Macroom Union.
