I beg to ask the Secretary of State for War whether he will lay upon the Table † See (4) Debates, cxxxvii., 775. the figures upon which it is estimated that the adoption of the recommendation of the Report of the Royal Commission on Militia and Volunteers with respect to compulsory training would cost a yearly sum of £25,900,000.
