§ MR. ALFRED DAVIESI beg to ask the Secretary to the Board of Education if he will state the number of Roman Catholic schools, and children attending them, there is in each of the Welsh Parliamentary constituencies.
§ SIR WILLIAM ANSONThe total number of Roman Catholic schools in Wales and Monmouthshire is fifty-two. The total average attendance is 11,246. The areas of Parliamentary constituences are not recognised for the purposes of educational administration, but, if the hon. Member desires it, I shall be happy to send him a statement giving the figures for each local education authority in Wales and Monmouth separately.
