§ MR. J. P. FARRELLI beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland whether his attention has been called to the case of Dennis Mulligan, an evicted tenant on the Dopping property in the parish of Collumbkille, North Longford; whether he is aware that this man's house and farm have been taken by a policeman at present serving in the county Louth; and whether the Estates Commissioners intend to take any action towards providing Mulligan cither with an equivalent holding elsewhere or compensating the planter with a view to the restoration of the evicted tenant.
§ MR. ATKINSON (for Mr. WYNDHAM)The evicted tenant who is dead, was Ellen Beglan, not Dennis Mulligan. The claim of Mulligan appears to arise from the fact that he is married to a niece of the evicted tenant. His application will Ire considered by the Estates Commissioners.
