HC Deb 25 April 1904 vol 133 cc1026-7
MR. YERBURGH (Chester)

To ask the Secretary to the Admiralty whether foreigners are admitted to view the defences of Gibraltar, Malta, and other of our naval stations; if so, whether there are any limitations to such viewing, and if limitations, what they are, and whether they are ever waived; and, if so, under what conditions and in whose favour.

(Answered by Mr. Pretyman.) The orders regulating admission to National Defences are contained in Appendix V. to the King's Regulations. Paragraph 2 delegates responsibility to the General or other Officer Commanding on the spot, for ensuring that unauthorised persons do not gain admission to military works.
