To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will state the number of aliens at present undergoing sentences in His Majesty's prisons in the United Kingdom.

(Answered by Mr. Secretary Akers-Douglas.) I have requested the Prison Commissioners to obtain this information. It has to be collected specially and may take a few days. The hon. Member shall have it with the least possible delay.
