That they have passed a Bill, intituled, "An Act to empower the Corporation of Barrow-in-Furness to construct an opening bridge across Walney Channel; to make certain street works; to lay down additional tramways, and to execute works in connection with their water undertaking; and for other purposes."[Barrow-in-Furness Corporation Bill [Lords].

And, also, a Bill, intituled, "An Act to extend the time for taking certain lands and for the construction of certain authorised works by the Southport and Lytham Tramroad Company, and the Mayor, Aldermen, and Burgesses of the borough of Southport, to authorise the raising of further capital; and for other purposes."
