§ CAPTAIN NORTON (Newington, W.)I beg to ask the Postmaster-General whether it is his intention to increase to a great extent the employment of boy copyists in the clerical departments of the Post Office, both in London and the provinces; and whether it is intended to exclude telegraphists from the engineering departmen in order to utilise the services of copyists.

In regard to the second part of the Question I have nothing to add to the answer which was given to a Question on the same subject by the hon. Member for West Nottingham on the 25th February last except that there is no intention of excluding telegraphists.
