JAMES O'CONNOR (Wicklow, W.)To ask the Postmaster-General whether he is prepared to announce the decision of the Department on the questions laid before his predecessor in July last by a deputation representing the London Postal Porters' Association; and, if not, when a reply will be forthcoming.

The representations made by the deputation of porters in the London postal service at their interview with my predecessor in July last are under consideration; but I am not prepared to give my decision until I have seen the Report of the Committee on Post Office Wages now sitting.
