HC Deb 18 April 1904 vol 133 cc387-8
MR. DELANY (Queen's County, Ossory)

I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland whether he will grant a Return of the officials transferred under the Agricultural and Technical Instruction (Ireland) Act, 1899, from the Veterinary Department of the Privy Council to the Department of Agriculture, giving the names, amount of salaries prior to transfer, and present salaries.

MR. WYNDHAM

I have no information before me that a Return of the character mentioned would satisfy any useful public object, and I am unable, therefore, to grant it. A Return was recently laid † See (4) Debates, cxxxi., 729. on the Table [No. 21 of this session] giving the names and emoluments of all permanent officers on the establishment of the Department. This Return sets forth the names of the officials mentioned in the Question and their salaries in May last.
