HC Deb 28 May 1903 vol 123 c118
SIR CHARLES DILKE (Gloucestershire, Forest of Dean)

I beg to ask the Secretary of State for the Colonies whether he has received by telegraph the exact words of the reference to preferential trading in the speech of the Governor-General of Australia on the opening of the Commonwealth Parliament; and, if so, whether he can communicate them to Parliament.

MR. J. CHAMBERLAIN

No, Sir but I have telegraphed to ask for them.
