HC Deb 28 May 1903 vol 123 c115
MR. WEIR

To ask the Secretary of State for the Colonies whether the system of inoculation with plague serum which is in force in India has been adopted in Hong Kong; and, if not, will he consider the expediency of calling for a report on the subject.

(Answered by Mr. Secretary Chamberlain.) The hon. Member will see from Dr. Simpson's report, which has just been placed in the Library of the House, that the inoculation of those who wish to be protected with Haffkine's Plague Prophylactic is already carried on in Hong Kong, and that Dr. Simpson recommends the continuance of this practice.
