HERBERT ROBERTS (Denbighshire, W.)I beg to ask the Secretary of State for India whether he can state when the Report of Mr. Robertson, the specialist employed by the Government of India for the purpose of examining the Indian Railway systems, will be issued; and whether he is now in a position to give to the House its main recommendations.
§ LORD GEORGE HAMILTONMr. Robertson's Report has been printed and published in India, and I am expecting 120 shortly to receive a large number of copies for issue in this country. In the meantime I do not propose to make any statement as to the nature of the recommendations which it contains.
