HC Deb 27 May 1903 vol 123 cc11-2
MR. LABOUCHERE (Northampton)

To ask the Under Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether there is any agreement with regard to the war now being waged in Somaliland either with Italy or with Abyssinia beyond what has been brought already under the cognisance of this House; and, if so, whether he will state what such agreement or agreements are; and whether the Mad Mullah has ever been informed of the conditions under which he will be left in peace, or any attempts have been made to enter into negotiations with that potentate.

(Answered by Lord Cranborne.) The answer to both Questions is in the negative.
