§ SIR HOWARD VINCENT (Sheffield, Central)To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will state what steps he is taking to place the power to tear up the streets of London under some system or control.
(Answered by Mr. Secretary Akers-Douglas.) This is not a matter in which I can take any steps, pending the Report of the Royal Commission which is considering the whole question of street traffic in London.
