§ MR. JOHN ELLISTo ask the Secretary of State for the Colonies whether any charge is expected to fall on the National Exchequer during the financial year 1903–04 in consequence of the military operations in Nigeria; and, if so, what sum.
§ (Answered by Mr. Secretary Chamberlain.) It is not anticipated that any additional charge will fall on the National Exchequer on account of these operations during the current year.
