HC Deb 21 May 1903 vol 122 c1356
MR. JOHN CAMPBELL (Armagh, S.)

I beg to ask the First Lord of the Treasury, when he proposes to bring in the Bill to amend certain alleged defects in the law as disclosed by the Whitaker-Wright case.

MR. A. J. BALFOUR

The Bill has been for some time ready; but my hon. and learned friend the Attorney-General thinks, and I am in entire agreement with him, that it would be most inconvenient to have a discussion on the Bill while the Whitaker-Wright case was pending. It would be impossible to avoid allusion to that case, which, I think, would be most inconvenient, and indeed, improper.
