Member will find on referring to page 121 of the Judicial Statistics of Scotland for 1901 that there were in all forty-six appeals to quarter sessions, in nineteen of which the certificate was granted, while in twenty-seven it was refused. The figures for 1902 are in course of collection but are not yet complete.
