I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland, if he will

Electoral Divisions (Ireland).—Return showing the area, valuation, population, and occupiers in the electoral divisions of each Union in the counties of Galway, Sligo, Leitrim, and Roscommon, in the following form:—
Electoral Divisions. Area of each Electoral Division in acres. Valuation of each Electoral Divisions. Population. Decrease in Population in two decades. Number of Occupiers in each Electoral Division whose Valuation amounts to— Valuation per head of the Population. Valuation per head of Population excluding Valuation of grazing farms. Area and Valuation of grazing lands.
1881. 1901. £4 and under. £6 and over £4. £8 and over £6. £10 and over £8. £15 and over £10. Over £15. Total Occupies in each Electoral Division. Area in acres. Valuation.

The information indicated in the last three columns of the proposed Return is not officially recorded, and cannot, therefore, be given. Nor is it possible to give the valuation of holdings in electoral divisions within the particular limits mentioned. If the hon. Member will amend the Notice in the form which I have communicated to him the Return will be granted.

MR. O'KELLY

said his desire was to get the information before the Committee stage of the Land Bill. He wanted to show the fallaciousness of the policy adopted by the Congested District Board in fixing congested districts.
