§ MAJOR EVANS GORDON (Tower Hamlets, Stepney)To ask the Secretary of State for India whether, in considering the scheme for renumbering the regiments of the Indian Army, the existing precedence of regiments will be preserved.
§ (Answered by Secretary Lord George Hamilton.) In the event of a renumbering, provision will be made for the maintenance of the existing precedence of regiments on ceremonial occasions.
