HC Deb 07 May 1903 vol 122 cc32-3
MR. TULLY

I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland whether he can state the total amount levied as an extra police tax off the De Freyne and Murphy estates, when was it collected, and what is the present liability of the Roscommon County Council in respect to it.

MR. WYNDHAM

A claim for £206 has been sent to the County Council, and a further claim for £620 is about to be sent. The area of charge extends beyond the limits of the two estates mentioned. The first mentioned claim has not yet been satisfied.
