I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland whether he can state if Mr. Henry A. B. Wallis, who adjudicated at Mill street Petty Sessions on 27th April, was sworn in as a magistrate in the manner required by law; and if so, when, and by whom.

In September, 1887, upon his appointment to the Commission. He was re-sworn in September, 1901, consequent on the demise of the Crown, before the local resident magistrate.
