HC Deb 30 March 1903 vol 120 c582
MR. LAMBERT

I beg to ask the First Lord of the Treasury whether he will introduce legislation offering similar facilities to British landowners and farmers as are proposed by the Irish Land Bill to be given to the Irish owners and occupiers of land.

THE PRIME MINISTER AND FIRST LORD OF THE TREASURY (Mr. A. J. BALFOUR,) Manchester, E.

There is no parallel between the two cases.

MR. LAMBERT

Will the right hon. Gentleman reconsider the matter if British farmers cheer the defeat of a British general?
