HC Deb 30 March 1903 vol 120 c564
MR. NANNETTI

I beg to ask the Financial Secretary to the War Office whether any tenders for officers' uniforms, etc., for cash prices have been received from manufacturers in Ireland; whether any manufacturers from that country have been placed on the list selected by the War Office; and, if not, whether steps will be taken to secure for such manufacturers a portion of the orders for officers' uniforms, etc., serving in Ireland.

MR. BRODRICK

Price lists are being received from the firms concerned. I am not therefore, in a position to make any further statement at present.

GENERAL LAURIE (Pembroke and Haverfordwest)

Are the prices modified as the uniform is changed from time to time?

MR. BRODRICK

I cannot say; I hope there are not many changes to make a modification necessary.
