I beg to ask the Lord Advocate when he proposes to take the Second Readings of the Scotch Licensing Bill and the Consolidation Bill.

The arrangements as to public business are such as to preclude the possibility of the Second Reading being taken next week, but I am hopeful that it may be taken on an early day of the week following.
