HC Deb 25 March 1903 vol 120 cc178-9
MR. WEIR

I beg to ask the Lord Advocate if he will state from whom the public vaccinators in Scotland obtain, their supply of animal lymph.

THE LORD ADVOCATE (Mr. A. GRAHAM MURRAY,) Buteshire

There are no public vaccinators in (Scotland, as the term is understood in England. Parochial vaccinators, whose duties are confined to vaccinating defaulters and the children of paupers, receive free, on application, supplies of glycerinated calf lymph from the Local Government Board for Scotland.
