ALFRED DAVIES (Carmarthen Boroughs)I beg to ask the Secretary of State for the Colonies if he will state how much of the £3,000,000 voted as free grants to the Boers, and of the £2,000,000 voted as free grants to others in South Africa who have suffered war losses has been expended; and, further, will he say in what way these amounts have been expended.
