HC Deb 18 March 1903 vol 119 c1088
MR. WEIR (ROSS and Cromarty)

To ask the Lord Advocate whether the Secretary for Scotland is aware that the breakwater at Port of Ness, Island of Lewis, has been damaged by the storm of the 28th February last; and will he state what action it is proposed to take in the matter.

(Answered by Mr. A. Graham Murray.) Yes, Sir. A letter has been received to the effect that the breakwater was damaged about the time named, but the information given is very vague and is not sufficient to enable any decision to be come to. The Secretary for Scotland has taken steps to get further information.
